UPDATE - Thursday, May 18th
I am still moving along with the “Naturally You” sessions, and the submissions are still pouring in! I will be continent-hopping again soon to reach my most remote participants. Meanwhile, keep those submissions coming and I will make it my mission to get to each and every one of you! Thank you all for believing in this project.
After almost a full year of meeting, speaking with, and photographing a number of AMAZING women from diverse backgrounds (and countries), I can truly say that this iteration of the Naturally You Project has far exceeded my expectations. In 2014 I held 2 exhibits showcasing the 32 women who signed up for this experience. As of today there are well over 100 participants for the current project, and still more waiting to sign up. As a result, I have decided to maintain Naturally You as an ongoing project.
What this means:
I will keep the sign-up open for any and all who would like to sign up in the foreseeable future
I will continue to schedule sessions for those who have signed up
There will be a series of exhibits for as long as I have participants
There will be a series of books published (again, for as long as I have participants)
What I need from you:
In 2014 the entire project (to include prints, sessions, exhibit space, etc) was funded entirely by your’s truly. It was a major undertaking, but more than worth it.
The Naturally You Project has grown exponentially since then, and while I have been (again) funding the current version of this project - there is no way that I can realistically finance everything. So…I need your help - As stated above, this project will continue as long as I have participants. There will be exhibits (both domestic and international), I will continue to travel to meet and photograph all participants, and by popular demand there will be books available featuring all of the participants.
I will be accepting any and all donations (no donation is too small). However, there are donation tiers that will earn some nice gifts. Please help keep The Naturally You Project going…
