When I began this project in March of this year, my intention was to showcase the innate beauty that a woman possesses. I wanted to strip away the foundation/lipstick/eye shadow/eyeliner, etc. and reveal the true beauty that lie underneath.
Mission accomplished - this project took on a life of its own, and as a result I am pleased to announce Naturally You - The Exhibit! This was not only a challenge to the women involved; it was also a challenge to myself as well as others who may be involved in the shaping of society's interpretation of beauty. For this project, the only editing performed on these photos were the conversion to BnW. NO airbrush, no blemish removal, no enhancing of features. What you see during the exhibit will be the TRUE beauty of these women; many of whom will be in attendance.
