In and Around Powder Springs, GA - Pt 2
My 2nd installment of “In and Around…” is the result of my introduction to Bray Family Farms in Powder Springs. This is a location I’d passed by on SEVERAL occasions until fellow photog Tesa Neal actually guided me directly to their Powder Springs Rd. location. Fresh organic veggies, a well-stocked pumpkin patch, preserves, free range chicken-laid brown eggs…and so much more – including plenty of subjects to get my creative juices flowing. I will definitely be back to capture more images and support this local business. (As usual, there are some images where I could not decide on my favorite filter and/or edit so I simply posted all edits)
Abandonment La Deuxième Partie (Part Two)
Another structure standing forgotten; this time on a relatively busy rural intersection. We drew a few curious glances as we captured images of the outside of the structures, but nothing more. The fascinating feature of this particular abandoned location (one that immediately became a focal point of my shots) was the piano situated against a wall inside; equally abandoned and forgotten. As is always the case, there are some images that have multiple edits. These are images where I liked both edits equally, so I leave it up to the viewer to choose their favorites. Enjoy! – Demetrius

Abandonment La Troisième Partie (Part Three)
We approached this location with just a little apprehension. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was a group of four young animal skulls (looked to be young wolves) littered across the ground. I then noticed what may have been their mother (more recently deceased) a few feet away. It was definitely one of the more eerie sights I'd come across. I had to take a few deep breaths and take in the scene - and then I began... (as usual, I chose to offer different edits of some of the images - more to come from this location)
